Taking the prestigious title of the world’s best beach is the Grace Bay in Providenciales.
With seven miles of golden sands and turquoise water - it’s not difficult to see why.
Having been granted UNESCO world heritage status, the Baia do Sancho in Brazil takes second place and the Varadero Beach in Cuba comes in third.

For those wishing to stay a little closer to home, the Le Concha Bach in San Sebastian has been revealed as Europe’s winner followed by the Elafonissi beach in Greece.

Having climbed six places from last year, securing it the number one spot in Britain, Dorset isn’t just celebrating the success of Bournemouth beach.
Both Weymouth Beach and Hengistbury Head have made the list, landing in fifth and seventh place respectively.
